Job description
Role Overview
TECEZE is seeking a dependable, adaptable IT support professional to step in with on-site assistance whenever permanent engineers are unavailable or when dispatch-based support is required. The role is geared toward backfill support and freelance engagement at the Dublin location.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, and connected peripherals.
- Set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software in line with company standards.
- Carry out IMAC work, including install, move, add, and change tasks for IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including break-fix incidents.
- Liaise with OEMs and vendors for repairs, replacements, and issue escalation.
- Track IT assets and keep inventory records and supporting documentation up to date.
- Image laptops and desktops as part of deployment and support activities.
- Support printer deployment, troubleshooting, and network printer configuration.
- Help with conference room technology, AV equipment, and meeting room setup.
- Provide attentive, high-priority support to VIPs and end users.
- Assist with Office 365-related problems and general account troubleshooting.
- Install and troubleshoot compliance and security tools.
- Support both Mac devices and Windows-based systems.
- Work within agreed service-level targets and response expectations.
- Record incidents and fixes, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
- Be available for after-hours support, events, and recurring meetings when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid capability in troubleshooting and configuring desktops and laptops.
- Practical experience supporting hardware components and peripherals.
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, and LAN connectivity.
- Experience setting up and resolving issues with printers and network printers.
- Exposure to Office 365 support tasks.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Background in inventory control and vendor coordination.
