Role overview
Landa is hiring a Field Service Engineer to help deliver a strong customer experience for its Nanographic Printing presses. The role focuses on providing high-quality technical support to an expanding customer base while also building and maintaining solid customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Share technical know-how with press operators so on-site issues can be diagnosed and resolved efficiently.
- Route complex technical problems to Landa’s global support teams to ensure they are handled quickly and effectively.
- Use in-depth knowledge of press technology to improve machine output and overall productivity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience supporting products in the graphic arts sector, ideally with digital printers or offset presses.
- Hands-on experience with inkjet systems.
- Strong end-to-end technical expertise along with excellent troubleshooting ability.
- A valid driving licence is required.
Additional attributes
- Must be comfortable with flexible working hours and willing to travel to customer sites 60% to 70% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Should be able to work remotely with limited supervision and stay effective under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with customers and colleagues across global teams.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset is expected when applying technical procedures to customer issues.
- Must be a self-driven learner who actively expands knowledge of systems, tools, and products.
- Should be adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-changing work environment.
- Clear and effective English communication skills are essential.
