Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Ginir for a Field Operation Technical professional. The job focuses on installing, setting up, and maintaining telecom and network equipment to keep services stable and performing well. The field technician will carry out scheduled site visits, handle preventive and corrective maintenance, and quickly diagnose and resolve service disruptions or network faults. The role also includes supporting local teams, recording incidents and fixes, escalating complex issues when required, coordinating with central operations, and following safety and quality requirements while maintaining clear communication with both colleagues and customers to reduce downtime and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecom and network equipment in the field.
• Visit sites regularly to inspect equipment and ensure service continuity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and correct faults when issues arise.
• Identify and troubleshoot interruptions in service or network performance.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to local operational teams.
• Log incidents, actions taken, and final resolutions accurately.
• Escalate difficult technical problems to the appropriate support teams.
• Work in coordination with central operations and follow prescribed procedures.
• Observe safety standards and quality practices during all field activities.
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and customers to minimize service downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in field operations, including installing equipment, carrying out routine maintenance, and performing site inspections.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Working knowledge of wireless networking, including setup, tuning, and basic RF concepts.
• Good communication skills for working with different teams and engaging customers respectfully and clearly.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, information technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Willingness to work on site in Ginir, travel to field locations as required, and handle physically demanding tasks safely.
• Experience with network monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and telecom safety procedures is beneficial.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA or an equivalent networking/telecommunications credential are considered an advantage.
