Role overview
Louis Vuitton is looking for a Field Coach Trainer to partner with its New Zealand retail network from Auckland. The position supports more than 60 team members and focuses on strengthening capability, lifting the customer experience, and continuously improving retail performance. The role combines in-store presence with remote coaching, allowing you to influence teams both face-to-face and online.

Key responsibilities
- Work with Store Managers to assess learning needs and create coaching plans that support business objectives.
- Run engaging training for new starters, product knowledge, and clienteling practices through both live sessions and digital formats.
- Guide and support team members to build capability, improve collaboration, and deliver a consistently high-end client experience.
- Observe sales teams during monthly visits in New Zealand and provide immediate, practical coaching on the floor.
- Sustain coaching between visits using virtual meetings, digital tools, and regular follow-ups so progress continues even at a distance.
- Use Client Voice feedback to identify the causes of client dissatisfaction and help individuals improve their performance.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to connect product expertise with selling techniques and improve KPI outcomes.
- Ensure onboarding and induction processes are delivered consistently, in coordination with HR.
- Keep Store Management updated on all training activity, including progress notes, recommendations, and feedback across development stages.
- Spot and encourage future training talent within the store network.
Candidate profile
The right person will be a confident retail professional who enjoys developing people and delivering a premium client experience. You should be comfortable coaching, motivating, and influencing others, including when working remotely.
Working arrangement
- Base location: Auckland, supporting stores in Newmarket, Queen Street, and Queenstown.
- Work pattern: 5 days per week in-store.
- Travel: regular travel to Queenstown and quarterly travel to Australia.
- Remote support is expected between visits through Zoom and digital coaching tools.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is NZD 90,000 to NZD 100,000 per year.
