Overview
The organization is hiring a Field Assessor to support inspection services and uphold quality, compliance, and regulatory standards. This is a field-focused role in a fast-moving environment where each day brings different inspection requirements. The position contributes to making sure registered businesses meet required standards while balancing the expectations of consumers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections in accordance with client performance targets and internal goals.
- Work with registered businesses to ensure identified issues are resolved promptly and to a high standard.
- Prepare inspection reports within agreed turnaround times and quality benchmarks.
- Take suitable corrective action when non-compliance or deficiencies are discovered, with attention to safety and regulatory obligations.
- Handle expectations from both consumers and registered businesses in a professional manner.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement activities whenever required.
- Keep professional knowledge current through continuing development and ongoing industry awareness.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for someone with strong attention to detail, a professional approach to quality assurance, and the confidence to operate independently in the field.
- Extensive management experience in the hotel industry.
- Must be based in Leinster, with Dublin preferred.
- Willingness to travel significantly, mainly across Leinster, with some national travel if needed.
- Availability for 2 to 3 overnight stays per month.
- Good understanding of the travel and accommodation sector.
- Awareness of standards, regulations, and registration schemes.
- Experience working with inspection tools and specialist equipment.
- Ability to assess risk in different environments and use lone worker systems.
- Strong communication skills and sound technical judgement under pressure.
- Familiarity with Capita systems and operating approach would be an advantage.
Work Location and Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position based from home in Ireland, with field travel required.
