About the Team
The Store Facilities team plays an important role in keeping stores in premium condition for guests. The group handles both urgent and routine maintenance needs, supports stores and cross-functional partners, and works quickly to resolve issues while keeping retail spaces operating smoothly.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Facilities Specialist will use repair and maintenance expertise to support stores across assigned areas and help maintain a luxury-standard retail environment. The role focuses on delivering emergency and planned repairs efficiently, within budget and on schedule. It also includes overseeing planned maintenance programs and supporting store teams by removing blockers, sharing information, and helping solve operational issues. This is a highly solution-focused role centered on fast, high-quality fixes that keep stores open and functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle emergency and non-emergency repair and maintenance work within approved budgets and timelines.
- Support execution of planned maintenance programs and related initiatives.
- Respond to repair and maintenance questions from store teams.
- Coordinate weekly invoice consolidation and submission.
- Carry out planned asset replacements when needed.
- Review proposals to confirm the repair scope and pricing are appropriate.
- Issue and receive purchase orders.
- Track work to ensure service-level timelines are met.
- Troubleshoot issues and determine the most effective repair approach.
- Assist stores and cross-functional partners by sharing information, removing obstacles, and contributing to additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong mechanical understanding.
- Ability to adapt quickly and reshuffle priorities as business needs change during the day.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with retail environments.
- Ability to manage several projects at once.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, SmartSheet, and PowerPoint.
- Highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organization, time management, and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The role follows a pay-for-performance approach. The expected hiring range is CAD 71,400 to CAD 93,800 per year, with actual pay determined by market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent employees may also qualify for an annual bonus program, subject to eligibility rules.
