How You’ll Contribute
As an Audit Manager, you will oversee a significant client portfolio, managing the entire lifecycle of audit engagements. You will collaborate with a team of problem-solvers to address complex business challenges from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively managing a portfolio of clients, handling day-to-day liaison and technical issue resolution.
- Engaging in business development activities to identify and explore opportunities with new and existing clients, while cultivating strong client relationships.
- Developing strategies to overcome complex technical issues and enhancing your own and your team's technical capabilities.
- Assisting in the management and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to critical deadlines.
- Taking ownership of audit strategy design and execution, guided by the engagement leader, and advising clients on financial reporting and regulatory changes.
- Managing client relationships with senior executives, including presenting to boards of directors and audit committees.
- Ensuring strict compliance with risk, quality, and independence standards.
- Staying informed about current local and national business and economic trends.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members, prioritizing their well-being.
- Promoting the adoption of digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies, as well as alternative delivery models, to align with the firm's vision and enhance audit robustness.
- Participating in the recruitment process to identify and select qualified candidates according to PwC's hiring standards.
What You’ll Bring

- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related academic field.
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in external financial audit, preferably within a Big Four firm.
- Completion of a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, or CPA.
- Demonstrated experience in auditing a diverse range of industries.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is advantageous.
- Strong project management capabilities, with experience managing audits from planning through to completion.
- Confidence in challenging oneself and others to achieve high-quality testing and documentation.
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- A drive for innovative thinking and the ability to support others through change and uncertainty.

- Familiarity with audit technologies and experience with Data Analytics tools is a plus.
