Job description
About the Role
This opportunity is aimed at experienced quantitative professionals who want to help improve AI systems. You will collaborate with advanced AI models on work such as checking AI-produced quantitative analyses, solving technical challenges, and giving feedback that influences how these models handle data, scientific reasoning, and model-based thinking. Candidates from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other quantitative disciplines are encouraged if they have a strong analytical approach to data and models.
Some people use this work alongside another full-time position, while others make it their main focus.
How the Process Works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid projects will be unlocked on the platform.
Advantages of Contracting
- You can decide which projects to take on and choose when you work.
- You work from your own computer, on your own timetable, from home.
- Compensation is hourly, beginning at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, with bonus pay available on certain projects.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated quantitative outputs to verify technical correctness and practical validity, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-backed conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative problems for training and benchmarking AI systems across forecasting, experiment analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Prepare precise technical explanations and maintain well-organized analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps shape future AI models designed for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Working knowledge of coding, including the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with solid writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise is welcome, such as Kaggle ranking, AWS or GCP ML certifications, or similar credentials.
Other Information
Payment is issued through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any money.
