About the Role
Spotify’s marketing organization builds meaningful connections between fans, music, and creators through culture-led storytelling and memorable brand experiences. In this position, you will help shape experiential marketing initiatives for India, working at the crossroads of music, culture, and fandom.
What You Will Do
- Own the full lifecycle of experiential marketing initiatives across physical, digital, and blended environments.
- Turn brand direction into experiences that feel authentic to local culture and are grounded in music, creators, and fan communities.
- Work closely with teams across Music, Brand, Content, Partnerships, and Communications to keep experiences aligned with wider business goals.
- Conceptualize and deliver live music experiences such as concerts, showcases, fan gatherings, and listening sessions.
- Explore fresh formats for immersive activations that connect real-world and digital moments.
- Develop co-created partner experiences while protecting Spotify’s creative standards and brand identity.
- Set success measures and monitor metrics such as brand lift, engagement, earned media value, and fan growth.
- Coordinate agencies and vendors to ensure innovative, high-quality delivery.
- Manage planning, budgets, schedules, and risk controls for complex programs.
- Lead on-ground execution, including production, logistics, talent coordination, and staffing.
- Review outcomes continuously and refine the experiential strategy using performance insights.
Who You Are
You bring strong experience in experiential or brand marketing, live events, or partnerships, and you know how to take large programs from idea to execution. You are comfortable collaborating with artists, creators, agencies, and production teams, and you can balance ambitious creative ideas with disciplined delivery and budget management. You work well in uncertain situations, influence across functions, and understand the role of culture, music, and fandom in India. You also care about inclusive, accessible, high-quality experiences and are energized by fast-moving environments. Travel and non-standard hours around live events are part of the role.
Location and Working Style
- The position is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
- This is a hybrid setup with some in-person meetings and flexibility to work from home.
