Role overview
Motor Distributors Limited, the sole Irish importer and distributor for Mercedes-Benz, smart, BYD and XPENG, is hiring an Experienced Valetor for its Naas Road site in Dublin 12. The role suits a proactive, self-driven professional who can prepare and valet company vehicles, press vehicles, classic cars, and carry out related support tasks.

Key duties
- Plan and coordinate internal vehicle bookings across departments.
- Clarify exactly what work is required for each vehicle.
- Track progress on assigned vehicles and keep updates current.
- Make sure each vehicle is ready at the agreed time and explain the work completed.
- Carry out wash and hoover tasks, including hand washing, hand drying, tyre dressing and vacuuming for most passenger and commercial vehicles.
- Perform full valets where needed, including decontamination, hand drying, paint correction, dressing exterior plastics and door trims, cleaning windows and interior trim, carpet cleaning, and cleaning leather, air vents, button surrounds and fascia surfaces.
- Prepare vehicles by removing signwriting, fitting number plates, charging EVs, adding fuel and completing similar tasks.
- Inspect newly delivered vehicles both on-site and off-site.
- Report any damage promptly to the appropriate manager so action can be taken.
- Maintain tidy, organised and hazard-free work areas in line with health and safety rules.
- Work to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Handle any other ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate profile
- Previous experience in valeting is preferred.
- A full driving licence is essential.
- The right candidate will be dependable, honest and conscientious.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is important.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- A flexible attitude toward work is needed.
