About CNC Agency
CNC Agency, formerly known as Coffee 'n Clothes, is an experiential marketing agency rooted in culture and focused on building real human connection. The team develops experiences, stories, and products that people enjoy, helping brands grow through thoughtful strategy, creative direction, and production. Their approach emphasizes designing for people first, not algorithms.
Role Overview
The agency is looking for an Executive Producer to lead complex experiential programs at a senior level. This person will act as the main production lead for one or more major clients or accounts with several active workstreams. The role bridges the gap between Senior Producer and Production Director, combining hands-on delivery, strategic oversight, coaching, and financial ownership.
The Executive Producer is accountable for keeping production consistent, high-quality, and operationally sound across all assigned programs. They will ensure that creative intent, client goals, schedules, and budgets stay aligned while working closely with Account, Creative, and Leadership teams as a trusted partner.
Core Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of production for large, high-budget, or highly complex experiential initiatives, including live events, brand activations, tours, pop-ups, conferences, and hybrid or digital experiences.
- Shape production strategy from the early concept stage through final execution, turning creative ideas into practical and scalable plans.
- Identify production risks, dependencies, and operational issues in advance and manage them across multiple concurrent programs.
- Lead on-site production for live experiences and activations, including travel when needed.
- Act as the senior production contact for key clients or accounts with several simultaneous workstreams, keeping timelines, budgets, and vendor activity aligned.
- Coordinate multiple projects under one client relationship while maintaining a consistent delivery standard and unified production approach.
- Serve as the long-term production owner for assigned accounts, preserving continuity, institutional knowledge, and trusted client relationships.
- Work with Account leadership to manage scope, staffing, forecasting, and prioritization across all active workstreams.
- Look for ways to improve efficiency by sharing vendors, simplifying workflows, and scaling production across the account portfolio.
- Contribute to account growth by supporting renewals, expansions, and new scoped work through proactive production thinking.
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets at both program and account level.
- Build and approve estimates, production timelines, vendor agreements, scopes of work, and final reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance and Account teams to help deliver agency profitability targets.
- Maintain strong financial control through accurate forecasting and margin management.
- Directly supervise and mentor Senior Producers and Producers supporting flagship or multi-workstream accounts.
- Guide teams on planning, budgeting, execution, and client communication.
- Act as the escalation point for production problems, staffing concerns, and client issues.
- Support performance discussions, feedback, and professional growth alongside the Production Director.
- Build a collaborative, responsible, and inclusive culture within a distributed remote-first team.
- Represent production at a senior client-facing level, earning trust through expertise, clarity, and confident decisions.
- Work with Creative, Strategy, Account, and Operations teams to keep scope, expectations, and delivery aligned.
- Communicate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations clearly to both internal partners and clients.
- Evaluate and introduce new vendors, technologies, and experiential formats that can improve quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Requirements
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in experiential or event production, including at least 3 to 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
- Background managing major experiential programs with production budgets ranging from $500K to $5M+.
- Proven ability to own production across client accounts with multiple projects and workstreams.
- Strong understanding of live event production, fabrication, logistics, AV, staffing, permitting, and safety planning.
- Solid financial judgment with hands-on experience handling estimates, scopes of work, contracts, and reconciliations.
- Experience leading and developing production teams in a fast-moving agency environment.
- Comfort working remotely with distributed teams and openness to travel as needed.
Compensation
The salary for this position is between $140,000 and $175,000 per year. Placement within the range depends on experience, performance, specialized skills, location, and internal pay equity. The agency also benchmarks compensation against the market to keep pay aligned with the role’s scope and impact.
Equal Opportunity
CNC Agency is committed to inclusive hiring and believes strong ideas come from varied perspectives. All qualified candidates will be considered regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
