Job description
Role overview
An established global technology company is looking for an experienced Executive Business Partner to support its Founder and CEO in London. This is a senior executive support role that goes well beyond traditional diary management, placing you at the centre of the CEO office and making you a key enabler of the leader’s effectiveness.
The organisation is known for attracting top talent across engineering, research, product, and commercial functions. It offers a highly collaborative, high-performance culture built on intellectual curiosity, trust, and a strong commitment to excellence. The support team is well respected internally and given significant autonomy, responsibility, and visibility.
As the Executive Business Partner, you will act as a trusted extension of the CEO office, combining operational precision with strategic judgement. The role calls for someone who can anticipate needs, make sound decisions independently, and confidently manage sensitive matters in a fast-moving environment.
What you will do
- Oversee a highly demanding diary and manage complex international travel plans across multiple time zones.
- Protect the CEO’s time by prioritising commitments and aligning daily activity with business priorities.
- Represent the CEO office with senior internal leaders, global stakeholders, and external contacts.
- Track, filter, and prioritise communications, while preparing detailed briefing materials for meetings and engagements.
- Use strong judgement and discretion to handle decisions on behalf of the CEO when needed.
- Lead strategic and operational projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Coordinate business and personal priorities to maintain smooth continuity and efficiency.
- Improve systems, processes, and administrative workflows within the executive support function.
- Work closely with internal teams and the wider executive support group to ensure excellent execution.
Candidate profile
- Extensive experience supporting a Founder, CEO, Chair, or other senior C-suite leader in a demanding, high-growth, global, or technology-led environment.
- Demonstrated success working within complex matrix organisations.
- Excellent planning and prioritisation abilities, with confidence handling multiple competing deadlines.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to think ahead.
- Highly adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the confidence to own decisions and outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work credibly with very senior leaders.
- Natural relationship-building ability and a collaborative working style.
Working style
This role is based in London and follows a hybrid working pattern, with a 3:2 split. Flexibility is important, including occasional evening and weekend support as part of a team-based approach.
Opportunity
This is a high-exposure, career-defining position for someone who wants to operate as a genuine strategic partner to a visionary leader. You will be joining a respected organisation where contribution is valued, trust is earned, and high standards are the norm.
