Chef Einat Admony leads Balaboosta and Moondog Hifi, founded the Taim falafel chain, and is a three-time James Beard Award nominee, author, television personality, and the creator of Nine Chefs One Table. Her work sits where cuisine, media, and culture overlap, and the pace is consistently fast-moving across several business areas.
Role Overview
This position is for an Executive Assistant & Project Manager who will act as Einat’s close support partner and coordinate activity across culinary, brand, media, and PR priorities. It is a hands-on role that goes far beyond a standard EA function. You will contribute to video production, recipe development, food copywriting, major event execution, and the day-to-day organization of a multi-concept hospitality operation.
The role is designed for someone early in their career who wants exceptional exposure to a founder-chef working at the crossroads of hospitality, food media, and brand growth. The work is mainly in person in New York City, with occasional remote days when Einat is traveling.
Executive Operations & Calendar Management
- Take ownership of Einat’s schedule by arranging and coordinating meetings, tastings, press events, shoots, and personal commitments.
- Oversee travel planning, including flights, lodging, itineraries, and on-site coordination for work-related trips and, at times, personal travel.
- Monitor action items across internal teams and outside partners to keep projects moving.
- Help with household support and personal logistical tasks.
- Serve as a communication hub for various stakeholders.
Social Media & Video Production
- Support the creation of video content for Instagram and TikTok, with a combined audience of more than 100K followers, from idea development through post-production, sometimes working alongside an outside social media team.
- Organize shoot-day logistics such as grocery sourcing, kitchen prep and cleanup, shot-list planning, and food styling coordination.
- Work with video editors and external content partners to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Contribute to content planning, caption drafting, and scheduling so channels stay active and consistent with the brand.
Culinary & Recipe Support
- Assist with menu planning, recipe trials, culinary prep, and kitchen organization for shoots, events, and editorial assignments.
- Draft and refine food-related copy, including recipe headnotes, introductions, and newsletter material.
- Organize recipe records, formatting, and filing so documentation remains accurate and accessible.
Events & Restaurant Operations
- Coordinate a variety of events such as pop-up dinners, tasting receptions, talks, and cooking classes.
- Support logistics and on-the-day execution for Nine Chefs One Table, including communication with chefs, vendor coordination, and event-day operations.
- Assist with restaurant events, pop-ups, and special programming at Balaboosta and Moondog HiFi.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in hospitality, food media, marketing, or executive support.
- Prior restaurant or kitchen exposure.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with a friendly, polished, and flexible manner.
- Excellent organization and close attention to detail; able to create order and calm in busy situations.
- Comfort using Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain standing for extended periods during events and shoots.
- Availability to work mainly on-site in New York City, with flexibility for events, travel, and occasional remote work when Einat is away.
- Strong interest in food, hospitality, and the culinary industry.

Compensation
