About the Role
This position offers administrative support to two Vice Presidents of Production at 20th Television within Disney Entertainment Television. It sits in a busy, high-volume environment and supports coordination across teams connected to Hulu, Disney+, FX, and other business units. The role relies heavily on strong organization, communication, scheduling, and follow-through to help keep production activity moving smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Handle phone calls, screen incoming communication, coordinate calendars, and maintain contact records for production leaders.
- Arrange and update meetings with studio and production staff across different phases of the production lifecycle.
- Serve as the main everyday contact between show production offices and the studio.
- Prepare hiring charts, production schedules, departmental website updates, and studio grid updates.
- Coordinate executive travel and process expense reporting.
- Set up table reads, show-and-tell sessions, and other large meetings involving shows and the studio.
- Work independently when needed, help guide junior teammates, and support problem-solving in a fast-moving production setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of prior assistant experience, along with familiarity with production operations.
- Comfort using MacOS, Airtable, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, PIX, Aspera, cloud-based tools, and Adobe software.
- Strong planning and organization abilities, with close attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage several tasks and projects at once while maintaining reliable follow-through.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with both internal and external executives and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree, another film/television-related undergraduate degree, or equivalent production work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting.
- Familiarity with Concur.
Compensation and Additional Details
The hiring range for this role in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,400 per year, based on a 40-hour work week. The weekly schedule may change depending on business needs. Final base pay may differ based on internal equity, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total package may also include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with access to medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the level and position offered.
