Within Ride Engineering, the focus is on developing captivating ride experiences that move people through Disney stories in magical ways. Ride Engineers face challenging design problems and collaborate with creative experts to build exceptional entertainment platforms worldwide. This Executive Assistant role will provide crucial administrative support to the Executive Ride Development Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level professional administrative support with initiative, creative problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and effective communication at all organizational levels.
  • Act proactively by anticipating needs, handling confidential information discreetly, contributing creative ideas to improve processes, and efficiently managing work products and follow-up actions.
  • Excel in using technology and various computer applications, maintaining flexibility in work schedules to meet urgent demands, and actively supporting executives and their teams.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate both internal and external meetings, plan travel arrangements, and oversee meeting preparations including pre-work organization.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for incoming communications, ensuring professional handling of all interactions.
  • Prepare documents such as executive presentations, memos, letters, spreadsheets, and correspondence with attention to detail.
  • Oversee office administrative tasks including call screening, filing system maintenance, expense reports, and workflow coordination through SAP software.
  • Exercise discretion, judgment, diplomacy, professionalism, and consistently demonstrate initiative and ingenuity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of three years’ experience providing administrative support to senior executives in corporate settings, involving considerable engagement with senior internal and external leaders.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and network with management across a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—to professionally engage with executives, colleagues, and external contacts.
  • Flexibility, positive attitude, and discretion to manage multiple priorities such as preparing written communications, managing expense reports, creating presentations, taking meeting notes, and handling telephone duties.
  • Strong command of English grammar with capability to author documents and reports from notes and meetings.
  • Confidence in responding to and resolving employee and guest concerns with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented mindset and capability to work effectively within group environments.
  • Self-motivated problem solver who uses sound judgment and maintains confidentiality.
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio), SAP modules (Concur, Field Representative, Employee ESS, Casual Buyer), and other software like Keynote.
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills to accurately manage multiple concurrent work streams, prioritize effectively, and maintain orderly document archiving.
  • Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company culture, organizational structure, and operational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years’ experience supporting senior leaders within The Walt Disney Company.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

The annual compensation range for this role in Orlando, FL, is $52,000 to $70,300, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual hours may vary depending on business needs.
