Role overview
The Event Coordinator will support client-facing activations and marketing events in Sydney. This role combines in-person engagement, event support, and promotional execution to help drive business development and improve brand visibility.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for welcoming visitors, learning about their investment interests, showcasing the app and platform, and capturing useful insights that contribute to business growth.
You will also help deliver targeted marketing activities that support campaigns, events, and broader brand-building efforts.
Another important part of the role is working closely with marketers, designers, and mall management to ensure activations remain aligned with brand standards, meet compliance expectations, and stay on schedule.
You will assess how well events and marketing initiatives are performing, especially in relation to business development outcomes and sales targets.
In addition, you will assist with event planning and help coordinate team efforts so activations are efficient, high quality, and supportive of commercial goals.
Requirements
You should enjoy speaking with people face to face and be able to explain financial concepts in simple, clear language. Cantonese or other languages are considered a strong advantage.
You need to bring strong energy, confidence, and a target-driven mindset, with the ability to stay composed while hosting and engaging with the public.
You must be comfortable working in fast-paced settings such as busy weekend crowds, outdoor pop-ups, and last-minute changes to layouts or setups.
Applicants must be 18 years old or above and have full Australian working rights. Experience in sales, hospitality, retail events, or fintech is helpful, though not mandatory because product training will be provided.
Availability is required for rotating shifts, late-night shopping hours, and weekend expo or trade-show work.
You should be able to work effectively both on your own and as part of a team.
