Role Overview
RASCOR UK Ltd is hiring an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team in a permanent, full-time role. The position supports both tender preparation and the commercial oversight of construction work across the UK.
Location
This role is based in Colnbrook, Berkshire, UK and requires working from the office / site in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender documentation.
- Examine drawings, specifications, and project scope details to understand requirements.
- Request, compare, and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Handle contract variations and any extra work claims.
- Support payment applications and preparation of final accounts.
- Track project spend and commercial outcomes throughout delivery.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, and site teams to keep commercial matters moving.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or a related commercial construction role is required.
- Exposure to the construction sector is preferred.
- You should be confident with figures and have strong analytical ability.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed.
- Clear communication, strong organisation, and the ability to prioritise tasks are important.
- The role suits someone who can work on their own initiative as well as collaborate effectively with others.
