About the employer: Tykel Commercial Door Supply Inc. provides commercial door solutions with a focus on the design, fabrication, and installation of Division 8 and Division 10 products. The business serves design-build general contractors across South-Western Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare takeoffs from architectural drawings.
• Communicate with clients proactively by phone and email.
• Download, sort, and organize project documents.
• Manage bid boards and keep opportunities tracked accurately.
• Keep pricing materials and reference resources current.
• Partner with the sales team to improve the overall client experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in estimating or takeoff work.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Prior exposure to bid boards, tender packages, document control, and pricing updates.
• Valid G driver’s licence and access to a dependable vehicle.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Experience in general contracting is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Division 8 and Division 10 products is also an asset.

• Annual salary range of 60,000 to 90,000 CAD, depending on experience and skill set.
