Job description
Role overview
This full-time environmental services role is based at WK Pierremont in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is part of the housekeeping/environmental services team in a non-medical setting. The shift is in the evening, running from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Key duties
The position involves carrying out cleaning and sanitation work using standard housekeeping equipment and supplies. Tools and materials used in the role include 16 oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals, and other related equipment and products needed to keep the facility clean.
Physical demands
This job includes regular physical activity. The selected candidate must be able to apply up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
Onboarding and training
After joining, the new hire will need to complete both hospital orientation and department-specific orientation as part of the onboarding process.
