Role summary

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing business as a Business Development Executive focused entirely on generating new business. You will report to the Head of Sales for Europe and work closely with the Commercial team and prospective partners.

The position suits someone who enjoys a high-energy environment, works well independently, welcomes challenges, and wants to make a measurable impact. The role is office-based in London and requires attendance five days a week in a dog-friendly workplace.

Office location: The Bower, The Tower, 207 Old St, London, EC1V 9NR.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Reach out to key decision-makers through phone calls, email, and social channels, with some in-person meetings where relevant.
  • Showcase, promote, and sell products and services through live demos to current and prospective partners.
  • Own the full sales journey from prospecting through to closing deals.
  • Carry out cost-benefit and needs assessments to ensure solutions match partner objectives.
  • Work across teams to deliver a smooth experience for partners.
  • Share observations and feedback on market and industry developments.
  • Respond to all qualified inbound leads promptly and record call outcomes accurately in the CRM.
  • Act as a main contact for partners on commercial matters.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will bring around 1 year of strong B2B sales experience and a proven record of hitting targets. Backgrounds in SaaS, online marketplaces, or payment platforms are especially relevant.

You should be a confident relationship builder with a strong prospecting mindset, good organisation, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and solid time management. A naturally curious approach and willingness to keep learning are also important.

Added advantage: Fluency in English plus another language, and prior experience in the beauty and wellness sector.

Interview process

  • Initial screening call with a member of the Talent Team, lasting 30 minutes.
  • Skills and experience discussion with team leads, lasting 30 minutes, either by video or in person.
  • Final presentation stage with team leads and the General Manager for the UK & Ireland, lasting 75 minutes, in person.

The company expects the interview process to be completed and feedback shared within about 2 weeks. Applications are reviewed manually, and while the aim is to assess candidates within 7 days, high volume may occasionally extend this timeframe.

Compensation

The package includes a base salary of £30,000 and £10,000 variable pay, with accelerated commission available when performance exceeds target.
