FilterEasy is looking for a meticulous, driven HR professional to join its team as an Entry-Level HR Generalist in Wilson, NC. This role offers broad, practical exposure across the employee journey, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, benefits support, and employee relations. It is a strong fit for a recent graduate or an early-career candidate aiming to grow into a long-term HR career.
What you will do
- Keep employee records organized in both paper and digital systems, including HRIS, while meeting privacy and audit requirements.
- Support hiring efforts by posting entry-level production roles, reviewing resumes, arranging interviews, and coordinating background and drug screening.
- Handle onboarding activities such as preparing orientation materials, giving new hires a facility tour, completing first-day documentation like I-9s and tax forms, and entering schedules into HRIS on day one.
- Assist with attendance tracking, badge access management, and basic payroll issue resolution in partnership with the Senior Generalist.
- Respond to common questions from hourly and salaried employees about benefits, PTO balances, and company holiday schedules.
- Help monitor safety training completion and support site-wide events such as employee appreciation lunches and engagement activities.
- Plan and run employee engagement efforts, including holiday celebrations, team-building events, monthly engagement initiatives, satisfaction surveys, recognition programs, milestone celebrations, birthdays, and work anniversaries.
- Create, print, and circulate flyers and digital announcements to promote internal programs and activities.

Qualifications and skills
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or Business is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an industrial or fast-paced office environment.
- Comfort using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with particular strength in Excel and Word.
- Basic exposure to HRIS or payroll systems such as Paylocity.
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly, and accessible communication style.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with complete discretion.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $42,000 to $45,000 per year.
