Role Overview

Goodyear is hiring right away for an Entry Level Automotive Technician role in Colorado Springs, CO. This position offers a hands-on start in an auto service center, where you will learn the basics of vehicle maintenance while helping provide a great customer experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this role is $17.00 to $22.00, with actual base pay depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and local market conditions. What You Will Do

You will be trained to perform entry-level automotive work and develop practical service skills in a service center setting. This includes learning how to support routine maintenance tasks, assist with vehicle care, and contribute to a smooth and professional customer experience.

Training and Growth

Work Schedule

Store hours may run seven days a week depending on the location, so the schedule can include weekends and some holidays.

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. Candidates should be able to review and interpret information, spot issues, make decisions, stay committed to learning new automotive technologies, and follow safety rules and procedures.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior experience with preventative automotive maintenance or formal automotive training is also preferred.

Physical and Job Duties

The role involves learning and performing basic automotive services such as tire mounting and balancing, tire repairs, oil changes, filter replacement, and other preventative maintenance tasks. You may also train alongside mid-level and senior technicians to expand your knowledge. The work can require extended periods of manual activity, including lifting light and heavy items, standing, bending, and squatting.

Customer Service and Teamwork

Strong guest service is important in this role. You will be expected to communicate clearly with customers about their vehicles, support teamwork, and help meet guest expectations while following company policies for vehicle care and operation.
