About the Role
English 1 is hiring an energetic English as a Second Language teacher who is excited about teaching abroad and joining an international education community. This opportunity is suited to experienced ESL professionals as well as teachers from other backgrounds who are ready to grow their careers, work in China, and contribute meaningfully to young learners’ development.
Key Duties
- Teach English to children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 in lively, interactive classroom settings.
- Use the organisation’s curriculum, digital learning tools, and prepared teaching resources to deliver engaging lessons.
- Monitor learner progress and offer constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Take part in school functions, cultural activities, and wider community events.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Valid passport.
- ESL credentials such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA are beneficial; sponsorship may be available.
