About the Role
This is a pivotal role focused on delivering expert employee relations support throughout the organization. The Employee Relations Advisor will oversee a wide array of ER issues and collaborate with management to achieve equitable, consistent, and business-minded resolutions. The position is permanent and full-time, based in North Dublin with a hybrid work model requiring two days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee employee relations cases from inception to conclusion, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Offer expert advice on human resources policies, procedures, and current Irish employment legislation.
- Guide and assist managers in addressing employee relations and performance-related issues.
- Handle workplace disputes, facilitate mediation, and manage cases before the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC).
- Track and examine employee relations trends to inform management reporting and insights.
- Cultivate robust relationships with essential stakeholders and fellow HR professionals.
- Participate in employee relations projects, policy formulation, and initiatives aimed at employee well-being.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in employee relations within a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and WRC processes.
- Willingness to attend WRC hearings and associated meetings as necessary.
- Experience managing intricate employee and industrial relations cases, including interactions with trade unions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A practical, results-driven mindset with strong decision-making abilities and commercial acumen.
