Role Overview
GimmeGamma is looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist in India to oversee and improve the performance of email sending operations. This position is available in a part-time or full-time format and carries a monthly budget of 15,000 to 30,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage email operations end to end across different platforms.
- Set up, maintain, and coordinate servers used for email deliverability.
- Review engagement data to understand how emails are performing by using relevant tools and metrics.
- Identify customer behavior patterns and recommend process or tooling improvements that increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Experience and Skills
The role calls for 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in email deliverability. Candidates should be comfortable managing servers and IP rotation, and have a strong grasp of email technology. Practical experience with email marketing platforms such as SendGrid is expected, along with exposure to ESPs, ISPs, or email authentication vendors. A solid understanding of SMTP, MTAs, IP strategy, authentication, reputation management, data hygiene, privacy, opt-in policies, and anti-spam compliance is important. The position also requires the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
