Job description
Role Overview
This position is for an early-career Saudi professional with 1 to 2 years of experience to join the electronics and operations function in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on keeping LMI systems, PWAS (proximity warning alert systems), DMS, IVMS (in-vehicle monitoring systems), and related devices functioning reliably before they are delivered to customer sites.
The engineer will play an important part in reducing equipment failures, limiting customer complaints, and supporting field technicians in maintaining productivity and safety.
Core Duties
- Examine client-returned LMI, PWAS, and DMS units, identify faulty components, and carry out in-house repairs.
- Carry out both planned and unplanned servicing, repair work, and part replacements for PWAS, LMI, and DMS equipment.
- Investigate device issues, trace the underlying cause of failures, and apply corrective fixes.
- Build and follow preventive maintenance routines that help prolong device life and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Ensure all tasks follow electrical safety standards, regulations, and established safe work practices.
- Keep clear records of all maintenance and repair activities, and update manuals or technical documentation when needed.
- Respond quickly to urgent equipment failures to help reduce client complaints.
- Work with the Solutions team on upgrades, changes, and improvements to Perfect Vision devices.
- Track and manage spare parts and tools required for repairs and replacements.
- Support field technicians through training on new devices and product improvements.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in IoT, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in electronics maintenance and troubleshooting, especially with electronic systems.
- Understanding of electronics standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Comfort using electronics testing and diagnostic tools for Perfect Vision devices.
- Strong analytical ability and a sharp eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety procedures and protocols.
Optional Skills and Certifications
- Electronics-related licenses or certifications.
- Training in specialized equipment or systems relevant to the business.
Working Conditions
