  • Select, size, and define field instruments and analyzers according to process requirements.
  • Prepare requests for quotation, review supplier proposals, and complete technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Review vendor documents, take part in FAT, and respond to technical clarifications.
  • Supervise installation, calibration, loop checking, and functional testing in the field.
  • Support plant commissioning, investigate instrumentation issues, and confirm system performance.

Control Systems Scope

  • Prepare and review control philosophy documents, functional design specifications, cause-and-effect matrices, control sequence tables, alarm schedules, and trip schedules.
  • Develop and review PLC/DCS architecture and communication network diagrams.
  • Configure PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems, including logic, interlocks, sequences, graphics, historian functions, reporting, and alarms.
  • Review control panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
  • Lead and support FAT and SAT for PLC- and SCADA-based systems.
  • Coordinate interlock testing, verify control logic, and assist with system commissioning.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field and bring 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems engineering.
