Job description
About the Role
The Estée Lauder Companies is a global leader in prestige beauty, with a portfolio spanning skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care brands sold in about 150 countries and territories. As a freelance sales associate, you may provide makeup application, skincare guidance, or hair and fragrance consultations while delivering a polished, welcoming, and tailored in-store experience.
This position is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, creating memorable customer experiences, and contributing to a high-performing retail environment.
What You’ll Do
You will use both creative and technical ability to help customers discover products, build trust, and leave with a personalized service experience. The role also involves contributing to in-store events and helping the store maintain strong visual standards that help it stand apart from competing businesses.
Applicants with makeup certification or prior retail makeup experience are preferred, but beginners with strong potential are also encouraged to apply. Experience in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation is valuable, though the company is also open to candidates who want to grow in these areas.
Qualifications
The employer is looking for people who can provide genuine, inspiring, and individualized customer service. Retail experience is an advantage, but not strictly required if you can demonstrate creative and technical ability.
You should be comfortable working retail schedules that include days, evenings, weekends, and special events, and you must be able to thrive in a busy, fast-moving setting. Experience with retail point-of-sale systems is also expected.
If selected for interview, you must be able to show proof that you have the legal right to live and work in Canada.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay is CAD 17.75 to CAD 28.55 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and budget, calculated on a 40-hour workweek and adjusted accordingly if the hours differ.
Eligible employees may receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings options, education-related programs, paid holidays, vacation time, and access to incentive compensation programs. Commission or bonus eligibility may apply based on the plan rules in force at the time of hire, and more details will be shared during onboarding.
Equal Opportunity and Hiring Notes
The company welcomes applications from minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities, and accommodations for applicants with disabilities are available upon request.
