Education Consultant (Remote)

Role Overview

This contractor role is for an Education Specialist who will help create high-quality learning material used to train advanced AI systems. The focus is on applying subject-matter knowledge and structured reasoning to build content that helps models learn, think, and respond more effectively. Prior AI experience is not required; the emphasis is on domain expertise, clarity of thought, and collaboration. The work may involve subject areas such as finance, healthcare, and engineering, and contributes directly to the development of dependable AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Create challenging, insight-driven questions using image- and video-based scenarios to encourage deeper interpretation and reasoning.
• Write clear, step-by-step explanations and well-developed answers that demonstrate organized thinking for AI training.
• Review contributions from other team members and give practical feedback on accuracy, clarity, and depth.
• Work with a distributed expert team to improve guidelines, standards, and content quality.
• Use specialist knowledge to keep educational content accurate and relevant across different subject areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop educational material that strengthens critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong written communication skills for crafting detailed explanations and constructive feedback.
• Background in instructional design, learning science, or assessment creation is helpful but not mandatory.
• Comfort using remote collaboration tools and working in asynchronous workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking and judgment for evaluating and improving learning content.

Compensation

The payout for this contractor role is $20 to $40 per hour.
