Job description
About the role
This position is for quantitative specialists who want to contribute to the training of AI systems. You will collaborate with advanced models on work such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative analysis, solving technical challenges, and sharing feedback that improves how these systems handle data, modeling, and scientific reasoning.
The role is well-suited to people from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other analytical disciplines. If you are comfortable reasoning carefully through data and models, your background can be a strong fit. Some contributors take on this work in parallel with another full-time job, while others make it their main focus.
After account creation, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will become available through the platform.
Advantages of contracting
- You can decide which projects to accept and when to work on them.
- The work can be done on your own schedule, using your personal computer, from home.
- Compensation is hourly, with rates starting at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects offer additional bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness and practical relevance, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-led conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI models, including forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Prepare clear technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Offer feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI systems focused on quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative job or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Some programming background is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on experience with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level, plus excellent writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, including Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise is beneficial, such as a strong Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP machine learning certification, or similar credentials.
