Job Description

This position entails a range of technical and customer-facing responsibilities. You will be responsible for maintaining specific equipment models within your assigned area, performing comprehensive electronic and mechanical troubleshooting on complex systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction through daily interactions with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status. Productivity is key, with a focus on cost control for warranty and planned maintenance contracts. Administrative duties, including timely completion of documentation for Field Maintenance Instructions (FMIs) and Planned Maintenance (PM) inspections, are also critical. You will develop strong customer relationship skills, influencing and resolving differences of opinion effectively, aiming for first-visit issue resolution. Efficient use of materials and minimizing costs through appropriate part usage are expected. You will leverage digital tools like Smart PM and proactive alerts (onwatch) to enhance productivity, and collaborate with support engineers for cost-effective solutions. Maintaining a positive demeanor with customers, ensuring they perceive GE's high-quality service, and demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement are vital. Efficiently using digital platforms, ensuring system connectivity, and completing all required Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) trainings on time are also part of the role. You will also contribute to service sales by supporting contract renewals, upgrade opportunities, and conversions, as well as assisting sales teams with new equipment sales and End-of-Life (EOL) system opportunities.

Quality Specific Goals

Adherence to the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Policy, and relevant regulations is mandatory. This includes completing all assigned Quality & Compliance training promptly, immediately reporting any quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization, and ensuring timely closure of service dispatches. Field modifications must be completed within the specified timeframe, and participation in continuous improvement activities by identifying and escalating process or product quality gaps, offering solutions where feasible, is expected.

Qualifications/Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. Essential skills include technical analytical capabilities, being a reliable source of guidance for others, proficiency in English, maintaining high work standards, and effective work planning and organization. Readiness to travel within Saudi Arabia and internationally for training and business purposes is required.
