Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for a professional handling driver payroll, billing, and sales support. The role combines operational coordination, financial accuracy, and customer-facing communication to help ensure smooth day-to-day logistics activity.
Key duties
You will be responsible for managing driver payroll and making sure pay is calculated correctly based on hours, miles, and applicable allowances. The role also includes identifying and resolving payroll differences promptly and fairly. In addition, you will prepare, check, and process customer invoices for transportation services, confirm that supporting documents are complete, and work closely with operations and finance teams to maintain billing accuracy.
On the sales side, the position supports quotation preparation, rate discussions, customer record management, and follow-up on leads and enquiries. Regular work will also involve updating internal systems, creating recurring reports, speaking with drivers and customers, and coordinating with different departments to support efficient logistics operations and strong service delivery.
Qualifications and expectations
The ideal candidate should understand trucking operations and equipment, including exposure to truck-related logistics workflows. Familiarity with truck driving requirements and CDL Class A standards is important for coordinating effectively with drivers and understanding route, safety, and compliance needs. Strong communication and customer service abilities are essential, along with the capability to work cooperatively across teams and explain information clearly to drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Experience in payroll, billing, or accounting within transportation or logistics is strongly preferred. You should also be comfortable using spreadsheets, billing tools, and basic accounting concepts, while maintaining high accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organization to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. The job requires full-time on-site availability in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and the ability to work in a fast-moving operations environment.
Education preference
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, logistics, or a related discipline will be considered an advantage.
