Role overview
This position is for a Document Manager in Project Management, based in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany. The role focuses on handling technical project documentation, keeping document workflows organized, and supporting project execution through accurate tracking and reporting.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining documentation quality, coordinating document flow, and ensuring project-related records stay up to date throughout the work package lifecycle.
- Review, correct, maintain, and circulate technical project documents while working within the document management system
- Track progress and completion status, then prepare reports using the appropriate tool
- Share work-package status updates with the project management team
- Plan the work package timeline, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with involved project members
Required profile
The ideal candidate brings relevant vocational training and specialist knowledge, preferably gained through project-related documentation work. Success in this role also depends on strong communication and the ability to work confidently across teams and departments.

- Very good knowledge of document management systems such as Thinkproject, Aconex, and iTWO
- Fluent English
- Fluent German
