Job description

Overview

This role sits within a major residential community project in Dubai, where you will support project delivery through accurate document and information management. The position is with a delivery partner that brings together construction expertise and consultancy to help teams and projects achieve ambitious outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Handle the organisation, numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of both digital and paper records generated by project teams, consultants, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Make sure all information is controlled in line with company procedures and the rules of the project’s document management system.
  • Set up onboarding for internal staff and external parties on the project platform.
  • Check incoming documents for completeness and quality before they are accepted into the system.
  • Build, maintain, and revise distribution lists so information reaches the right organisations and individuals.
  • Keep the project work package register up to date and route documents to the correct packages.
  • Prepare in-app reports when requested by the project team.
  • Manage user permissions and access rights for the project system.
  • Support core project processes, including the RFI workflow, so they run according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to the wider goal of net zero carbon by helping identify and manage carbon emissions and reduction opportunities during delivery.

What you'll need

  • A degree qualification.
  • Strong working knowledge of EDMS tools such as Aconex and SharePoint, along with MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, plus a careful approach to document control.
  • Practical understanding of project workflows, document handling processes, and industry best practices.
  • Prior UAE experience, which is required for client approval.
