Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a DM Civil Engineer in Dubai. The selected professional will prepare and review civil drawings, design packages, and calculations to ensure alignment with Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable regulations.

Key Duties

Day-to-day work includes coordinating with design consultants, site engineers, and project managers so that designs can be built, remain compliant, and are accurately executed on site. The role requires submitting drawings and supporting documents for Dubai Municipality approval, addressing authority comments, and revising designs where needed. Site inspections will be carried out as required to confirm implementation, check quality and safety compliance, and assist in resolving technical issues quickly. The engineer will also prepare technical reports, keep project records organized and accurate, and contribute to practical engineering solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective for both current and future projects.

Qualifications

The role calls for a solid civil engineering background with experience in structural and infrastructure design, site development, and construction coordination. Practical knowledge of Dubai Municipality standards, approval workflows, and other local authority requirements in Dubai is important. Candidates should be comfortable using engineering and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software, along with MS Office for documentation and reporting. Strong ability to review drawings, specifications, and tender documents carefully is needed, as well as effective communication and coordination skills for working with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams.
