Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Divisional Quality Assurance Manager within the Dairy and Infant Nutrition business unit in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position carries responsibility for strengthening business performance by ensuring complete alignment with Quality Management Systems, while leading divisional quality functions, processes, and teams to meet both business and quality goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead divisional quality assurance activities across the Dairy and Infant Nutrition business unit.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable Quality Management Systems and food safety requirements.
  • Guide quality processes and teams to support overall business and quality objectives.
  • Develop and strengthen quality management and food safety programs.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive effective execution.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including suppliers and third-party service providers.
  • Support regulatory interactions and crisis response activities when required.
  • Contribute to facility start-ups, expansions, and validation-related initiatives.
  • Use strong analytical and strategic judgment to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Applied Science, or a closely related field.
  • Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, or ISO 9001 are preferred, with Lead Auditor certification especially valued.
  • 10 to 15 years of quality management experience in a multinational dairy, infant nutrition, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory expectations, and quality systems.
  • Background in dealing with regulatory bodies and managing crisis situations.
  • Demonstrated experience in plant start-ups, capacity expansions, and validation work.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Results-focused, self-motivated, and able to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Capability in project management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
