Role Overview
The District Manager will oversee an assigned district, partnering with the National Field Team and National Account Management teams to protect existing business, expand account penetration, and grow revenue. The role includes sourcing, evaluating, and coordinating providers and technicians, carrying out regular customer visits and property inspections, and identifying opportunities for additional services. This position works closely with the Regional Manager to support revenue targets in nearby markets while maintaining service quality. It is a salaried exempt role with budget responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and National Account Management teams to build and sustain corporate accounts across the district.
- Conduct recurring visits to corporate clients, complete site inspections and property audits, and look for opportunities to expand service offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providers, and technicians throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify, evaluate, and oversee provider and technician networks to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Respond quickly and effectively to escalations and customer needs.
- Track time and activity against KPIs, including weekly scheduled-visit goals and revenue growth expectations.
- Share market intelligence and contribute to short- and long-term business planning.
- Lead RFP efforts and negotiate with providers to meet financial objectives.
- Control district and travel spending within approved budget limits.
- Assist with insurance claim investigations when required.
- Handle additional tasks assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though relevant experience may also be considered; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfort using mobile and smart devices such as iPads or iPhones; experience with CRM platforms is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills, along with an upbeat, engaging, and outgoing personality.
- Comfort with customer-facing interactions and persistence in the face of rejection.
- Ability to meet demanding field expectations, including approximately 90% on-site work, significant outdoor activity, travel flexibility, and extended hours during busy periods or special projects.
- Capability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to meet the in-person needs of the team and the business.

Additional Information
