Job description
Role overview
We are looking to strengthen the team at the Somplar site with a Dispatcher (m/f/d). The position focuses on coordinating transport and logistics activities across locations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transport movements across sites, including trucks, containers, and rail shipments.
- Manage scheduling for the company’s own truck fleet as well as affiliated partner companies.
- Take part in project work related to logistics topics.
- Prepare freight cost calculations.
Profile
- Completed commercial training in forwarding and logistics services, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience are desirable; at least 5 years is preferred.
- A results-driven and well-organized way of working.
- English language skills, spoken and written, are an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and, if possible, TMS systems.
- Strong assertiveness, confident demeanor, and ability to work well in a team.
