Key responsibilities
- Monitor all bus routes and manage scheduling
- Coach and support drivers and monitors
- Manage frequent radio and phone communication
- Receive scheduling concerns and driver complaints, then escalate them to the Operations Supervisor or Contract Manager
- Act as the main contact between the company and major contracted customers
- Support charter booking, billing, or driver payroll tasks when needed
- Help resolve pick-up and drop-off issues
- Provide backup driving support or carry out miscellaneous clerical work as required
- Complete assigned special projects
- Assist with day-to-day operational supervision
Required experience and skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential
- Working knowledge of radio dispatch systems and equipment
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to perform well under deadlines and time pressure
- Background in terminal operations, dispatching, or driving
- Comfortable using computers
