Dishroom Lead

Overview

Sodexo is hiring a Dishroom Lead for the Liberty University location in Lynchburg, Virginia. This full-time onsite role is based at site code 10700041 and involves working variable shifts. Open availability is preferred, and more schedule details will be shared during the interview.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $14.50 to $23.44 per hour.

Role Summary

In this position, you will help keep kitchen operations running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness across multiple food service work areas, tools, and equipment. As the senior team member in your area, you will also guide other employees and help support daily client and team needs.

Key Duties

• Keep kitchen workspaces, equipment, and utensils clean and orderly.
• Wash dishes and pots manually or with a dish machine, and polish silverware.
• Sweep and mop floors and dispose of trash in the proper locations.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, including the pantry and dishroom.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and maintain consistent attendance.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed based on business priorities and client requirements.
