  • Create and roll out a supply chain approach that supports business expansion, production ramp-up, and long-term operating goals.
  • Bring planning, purchasing, inventory, logistics, and material flow together into one coordinated operating model.
  • Own the Sales & Operations Planning process to keep demand, supply, capacity, and business priorities aligned.
  • Put scalable systems and processes in place that can grow with the organization.

Planning and materials management

  • Convert forecasts, project needs, and bills of materials into workable manufacturing plans.
  • Maintain material availability and continuity of supply throughout production.
  • Manage production needs against capacity limits while protecting customer commitments.

Procurement and supplier management

  • Shape sourcing strategies that support quality, cost, delivery, and scale objectives.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract discussions, supplier performance reviews, and risk reduction efforts.
  • Develop strategic supplier partnerships and sourcing models that improve resilience and future capacity.
  • Identify supplier development opportunities and dual-sourcing options where suitable.

Inventory, warehousing, and logistics

  • Design inventory approaches that balance service levels, working capital, and obsolescence exposure.
  • Oversee warehousing, stock control, transportation, and logistics execution.
  • Improve material movement across the business to increase efficiency and shorten lead times.
  • Strengthen inventory accuracy and overall inventory performance.

Cross-functional partnership

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Commercial, and Manufacturing leaders.
  • Support new product introduction efforts by ensuring supply chain readiness and smooth production transfer.
  • Keep customer demand, production schedules, and supplier capability aligned.

Performance improvement and team leadership

  • Set and track KPIs covering planning accuracy, inventory health, supplier performance, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive process improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Use data to guide decisions and improve end-to-end supply chain outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a strong supply chain team.
  • Build team capability to support both current operations and future growth.
  • Encourage accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a closely related field is required.
  • At least 10 years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years leading teams in supply chain, procurement, planning, or logistics.
  • Experience with complex manufacturing operations involving multi-level bills of materials and long-lead-time parts.
  • Strong background in production planning, inventory control, procurement, supplier management, and logistics.
  • Proven ability to build scalable supply chain processes and deliver operational gains.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP platforms and advanced planning tools.
  • Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management capability.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional work and influencing decisions across multiple functions.
