Role overview
A growing global financial services business is looking for an experienced Director to strengthen its Strategy Consulting practice in Dublin. The team is expanding in the Irish market, and this hire will play a central role in guiding the direction of major organisations across the country.
The position involves partnering with C-suite leaders to tackle complex business issues, support transformation agendas, and create sustainable value for a varied client base. It also offers the chance to help shape a leading practice while enjoying a high level of ownership and influence.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the execution of complex corporate and commercial strategy assignments across a range of sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior executives and board-level decision-makers.
- Spot and develop new business opportunities, helping drive practice expansion and revenue.
- Lead cross-functional teams through strategic transformation programmes from planning to delivery.
- Contribute informed perspectives on market dynamics, growth approaches, operating models, and broader business change.
- Support the growth of consultants and managers through coaching, mentoring, and performance development.
Candidate profile
Applicants should bring a strong academic background, ideally at level 9 or equivalent, along with substantial experience in strategy consulting or internal corporate strategy roles. Experience gained in sectors such as FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, or construction would be an advantage, though candidates with wider sector exposure are also welcome. Backgrounds from leading consulting firms, including the Big Four, are preferred.
