About the role
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an accomplished and proactive Director of Project Delivery to join the Strategic Delivery Unit (SDU) in Riyadh. This position is responsible for steering assigned projects through to successful completion while meeting defined standards for quality, timeline, and budget.
In this leadership role, you will guide cross-functional teams, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure that delivery activities align with company policies and sector standards. The role directly supports Qiddiya’s ambition to build a leading entertainment and lifestyle destination.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee delivery operations within the SDU so projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and within approved budgets.
- Create detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resourcing, financials, and risk mitigation.
- Track progress and performance closely, addressing risks and issues early to avoid delays or budget excess.
- Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep execution coordinated and aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle contractual engagements with vendors, contractors, and consultants in an effective manner.
- Compile and deliver regular progress reports and status updates for senior leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation across project teams.
- Coach and support project managers and team members to strengthen capability and performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 12 years of experience delivering large-scale, complex development projects.
- A demonstrated history of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering results in fast-moving environments.
- Strong command of project management methods, tools, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Practical experience in contract administration and vendor negotiation.
- Capability to manage several projects at once while performing well under pressure.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental rules and standards.
- PMP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and follows a full-time, onsite work arrangement.
