In this role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration to build privacy products used by millions worldwide. You will work closely with engineering, design, and user insights teams to shape, prioritize, and deliver new products and features from start to finish.
You will also own parts of the product portfolio and help influence product strategy across the company while maintaining a consistently high standard for product quality.
What You Will Do
- Bring together product, engineering, design, and research partners to define goals, shape roadmaps, and deliver initiatives.
- Guide products and features from concept through launch and beyond.
- Contribute to product strategy and take ownership of specific product areas.
- Maintain strong quality standards across all product development efforts.
- Coach and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build effective privacy-focused solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 10 years of overall experience, including 4 or more years in product leadership roles such as Head, Principal, or Director.
- Proven experience taking features from early idea stage to launch.
- At least 2 years working on a product with a broad and diverse user base of more than 500,000 weekly active users.
- Strong strategic judgment and people leadership ability.
- Experience aligning cross-functional teams around goals, roadmaps, and resourcing.
- Comfort communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to use experiments, data, and user feedback to guide decisions.
- Strong product sense, including good judgment and taste.
- Skill in turning complex technical topics, such as internet privacy, into simple user-friendly product choices.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role is $243,800 USD per year, plus stock options. Pay is standardized across the company so that people at the same professional level and global region receive the same compensation.
Company-sponsored health benefits are available only to team members based in the United States and do not extend to employees in other countries, including Canada and the UK.
The team member support guide includes support such as paid parental leave, office setup support, and coworking allowances.
Hiring Process

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Additional Notes
- Video meetings are expected to be attended with the camera on.
- Travel is expected at least twice each year: once for an all-hands meetup and once for a team retreat, with each trip lasting around 4 to 5 days. Attendance may be affected by exceptional circumstances, though participation is strongly encouraged.
- The working arrangement is flexible and does not have core hours, but the role is expected to average 40 hours per week on a full-time basis.
- Employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check.
- Applicants must ensure that all submitted information is accurate and complete; false or misleading information may lead to rejection, withdrawal of an offer, or other adverse action, including termination after starting work.
