What you will do

  • Take ownership of financial and valuation work using multiple analytical approaches.
  • Build and review complex financial models to evaluate business performance across scenarios, capital structures, and M&A outcomes.
  • Originate and execute transactions from initial pitch materials through to final closing.
  • Develop polished client-facing presentations on strategic options, capital markets activity, and corporate finance matters.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities and assist with preparing transaction-related documentation.
  • Keep a strong grasp of client priorities, target businesses, and wider market developments.
  • Lead research and analysis across markets, industries, companies, and financial performance.
  • Work closely with teams across the bank to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Manage day-to-day project progress and transaction execution.
  • Ensure all necessary credit reviews and regulatory checks are completed.

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for someone with more than 10 years of experience in M&A or investment banking, ideally with a track record of performing effectively in demanding, high-pressure settings. A strong academic and professional background is important, along with a clear long-term commitment to building a career in M&A. The right person should bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and financial modelling expertise, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, integrity, and a collaborative mindset are also essential.

What is offered
