About the Role
Squiz is seeking a Strategy Consultant to join our ANZ team, focusing on expanding our enterprise customer base. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, leading strategic client engagements, and ensuring customers maximize value from the Squiz Digital Experience Platform (DXP). You will act as a key advisor, facilitating discovery workshops, developing digital roadmaps, and collaborating with Account Directors to convert prospects into revenue. The ideal candidate is a creative strategic thinker with a digital agency background, adept at balancing strategic insights with commercial results and comfortable engaging with stakeholders from operational levels to executive leadership.
What You'll Do
- Digital Consulting and Opportunity Development: Partner with Account Directors to identify and qualify opportunities within the existing customer portfolio. Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges and digital aspirations. Develop and present compelling proposals that align customer needs with Squiz DXP capabilities, including business cases and investment recommendations. Support deal progression by addressing concerns, building consensus, and demonstrating value.
- Strategic Engagements and Customer Workshops: Design and facilitate workshops for operational and executive stakeholders to assess customer maturity and pinpoint areas for improvement. Deliver practical roadmaps and recommendations tailored to specific customer contexts, connecting business strategy, user experience, and technology. Conduct efficient, high-impact assessments to inform sales strategies and customer success planning. Develop DXP adoption strategies to boost platform utilization and long-term customer retention.
- Customer Advisory: Serve as a subject matter expert on digital experience best practices, web strategy, and DXP functionalities. Advise clients on personalization, content strategy, portal design, and digital transformation initiatives. Translate complex technical features into tangible business outcomes for executive sponsors. Cultivate strong, trusted relationships to position Squiz as a strategic partner.
- Collaboration and Practice Development: Contribute to the creation of consulting frameworks, templates, and sales enablement materials. Share insights and learnings with Account Directors, Customer Success, and Product teams. Help refine consulting offerings based on market feedback and customer requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in consulting, solution sales, or digital advisory roles.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue through consulting-led sales approaches.
- Experience within a digital agency, management consulting firm, or enterprise SaaS environment.
- Proven experience working with enterprise clients in sectors such as government, higher education, financial services, telecommunications, or utilities.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining client relationships across all organizational levels.
- A collaborative spirit and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Experience in strategic planning and account management.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
