About the Role
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Digital Product Manager specializing in CRM for a permanent, onsite position in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role involves contributing to the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market potential. You will collaborate with senior leadership to define quarterly goals and key challenges, guiding the product team towards successful outcomes. A significant aspect of the role is championing the customer's voice by engaging with users to integrate their needs and feedback into the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the product vision and strategy in conjunction with company goals and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish quarterly objectives and identify key problems to address, directing the product team to achieve these targets.
- Regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and feedback, ensuring their perspective is central to product development.
- Cultivate strong internal relationships with engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams, as well as external partnerships with business associates and clients.
- Work closely with technical architects and engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility and optimize solution design.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, both internal and external, to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats, using data to shape product strategy.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to value realization, by delivering timely insights, prototypes, testing, and finalized solutions.
- Ensure all products adhere to relevant industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to evaluate product performance and inform future strategic decisions, reporting outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Foster an environment of innovation, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous improvement within product teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or comparable fields such as engineering, design, delivery, or product marketing.
- Demonstrated expertise in CRM systems and a proven track record of enhancing CRM capabilities to achieve measurable business results.
- Proficiency in product operating models, agile development methodologies, and the complete product development lifecycle.
- Experience with agile delivery practices and tools like JIRA and Confluence, including frameworks for managing technical products (initiatives, features, epics, user stories).
- Strong capabilities in analytical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and achieve desired outcomes.
- The ability to derive actionable insights from both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
