Role Overview
This position reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with the broader marketing team. It is a hybrid role based near the Round Rock, TX office, with telecommuting allowed only within commuting distance of the office and an expectation of three in-office days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and lead the company’s social media strategy to strengthen brand presence, expand engagement, and support community growth through focused campaigns, original content, and active platform management.
- Monitor marketing performance, interpret data, and continuously refine digital campaigns to improve reach, awareness, and audience interaction.
- Write clear and persuasive press releases covering company updates, product launches, and other important announcements for media and public audiences.
- Carry out market and user research to spot trends, gather useful insights, and compare competitors to guide strategy.
- Review third-party marketing tools in depth to confirm they are effective, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
- Plan and manage trade show participation, including both pre-event and post-event marketing efforts designed to maximize event impact and return on investment.
- Attend at least 10 U.S. events, conferences, or trade shows each year.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, plus 6 months of experience in the tech industry.
- At least 6 months of experience building social media strategy, improving engagement, and increasing brand visibility through campaigns, content development, and community management.
- At least 6 months of experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing activity across digital channels to drive awareness and engagement.
- At least 6 months of experience drafting press releases for company announcements, product launches, and public communications.
- At least 6 months of experience conducting market and user research, identifying trends, and performing competitive analysis.
- At least 6 months of experience auditing third-party marketing tools for effectiveness, compliance, and business alignment.
- At least 6 months of experience coordinating trade show activities and creating pre- and post-event marketing plans.
