Digital Trading and CRO
This team is focused on delivering profitable growth through better digital experiences. Its work centres on conversion rate optimisation, data-led decision-making, and continuous testing to improve performance across UK and international digital channels.
Role Overview
The Digital Assistant Trading Manager will support the rollout and trading performance of newly launched Shopify websites in new markets. The role involves managing product catalogue operations, improving merchandising and product discovery, and providing clear trading insight to stakeholders. It also requires close collaboration with in-market teams, offshore teams, business and merchandising departments, and the digital marketing team to help drive performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Online Trading Manager in launching new Shopify-based websites across fresh markets and territories, ensuring strong brand positioning and commercial performance.
- Maintain the website catalogue by loading new products, building categories, and managing large product sets accurately.
- Test, monitor, and improve onsite merchandising and product rankings to support revenue goals, adapting the approach for each market.
- Enhance search and navigation so customers can find products more easily and engage more deeply with the site.
- Prepare, track, and share the digital forecast and trading plan with practical insights for stakeholders, while factoring in important trading events in individual countries.
- Work closely with in-market and offshore teams to support growth in newly launched countries through insight sharing, guidance, and clear communication across multiple time zones.
- Partner with business and merchandising teams to ensure the trading plan reflects stock levels, sell-through, allocation, newness, and replenishment.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to identify product and category opportunities that can improve traffic performance.
- Provide broader digital support where needed, with a clear focus on the trading plan and commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with Shopify websites and related platforms is strongly preferred, though not essential.
- Experience using digital merchandising tools such as Fred Hopper is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to handle large datasets accurately and confidently.
- Conversational Spanish would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different time zones.
