Key responsibilities
- Complete detailed dietetic assessments, implement interventions, and provide ongoing management in accordance with NDIS expectations.
- Create and deliver tailored nutrition care plans, including enteral feeding plans and hydration strategies.
- Educate and support clients, families, and carers through both one-to-one and group-based sessions.
- Maintain an active clinical caseload while ensuring documentation and reporting remain accurate and high quality.
- Collaborate closely with the wider allied health team to provide coordinated, holistic support.
- Take part in service improvement activities and help shape the development of the service.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia and APD status.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to manage a clinical caseload effectively.
- A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- An NDIS Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
- Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate, or willingness to obtain it.
Why join MSWA
MSWA supports Western Australians to live better lives across a range of neurological conditions. The role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to that mission while enjoying a supportive workplace.
- Access to generous leave benefits, salary packaging, retail discounts, and other employee perks.
- Wellbeing support including an Employee Assistance Program and discounts with healthcare providers.
- Flexible work options such as a 9-day fortnight, work-from-home arrangements, and a genuine focus on work-life balance.
- Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and career development.
